COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:

In compliance with Governor Baker's order, Woodward School will continue to educate our students through remote learning through the end of the school year. However, we want you to know that Woodward shifted to remote learning mid-March with great success. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it pertains to summer sessions. Stay home and stay well.

I attended Woodward for 4 years and it was genuinely one of the best parts of my life. I felt completely accepted by my peers and teachers, and was never afraid to ask questions and keep learning. Woodward gave me a sense of community that I genuinely don't think I would've been able to get from a bigger, co-ed school. I felt comfortable, had so much fun, was very involved, was challenged with my school work, and felt very prepared for college. The small student to teacher ratio helped me form lasting connections too. I couldn't recommend Woodward enough!

I loved Woodward. The school is unique in that you do not just learn, but learn to love learning. I had so many opportunities to take part in activities were new to me. I joined sports teams, which despite the small school, do very well and compete against upper division teams. I was in student government and other extracurriculars. At Woodward, you can take part in everything you have an interest in and discover others. Woodward doesn't inhibit you from achieving your dreams, but encourage you. It is not just a school, it is a home. Being in Woodward's atmosphere empowers women to speak up and have the courage to dream big. Woodward provides teachers who care about the students in regard to their academics and well being. Woodward is a family.
I am very excited for the future of the school.
My daughter currently attends Woodward and has been there since the 6th grade. She has been able to learn, grow, and develop into an incredible young woman during the last several years. The school has experienced transition, but is moving forward at an incredibly fast rate. The renovation of the school is amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming and very calm. My daughter is challenged academically and has small classes where she can really explore a variety of topics. She has taken Latin for 4 years which she has really enjoyed and finds that it helps in her other subjects. I would highly recommend Woodward to any family looking for a reasonably priced private education for their daughter who is bright, interested in learning, and wants to be challenged in a supportive environment.
