Woodlands prep is a very good school. The school is full of loving people from teachers, to the principal, to the parents, even the kids. It was soo nice and very comforting to see we were putting our kids in an environment where they are loved. From the get go the kids realllly like it!
Academics here is also challenging, the teachers really understand the subjects so they are able to explain to the kids from the basics up. They encourage some great mindset in the school like in-depth study of a subject, practical way of learning and researches (even for the young classes) it's amazing what my kids can do now and how many of the knowledge they are actually retaining. The school is very equipped in technology. The food is soo good and well balanced with wholesome fresh fruits and veggies. The club can be better though, it will be nice to have ballet.

This school is amazing. We were nervous about moving to the states mainly because we felt that our children were excelling at their past school. Things happen for a reason. Woodlands prep has really proved to be the school for us. The headmaster is always there to listen to us. I have never met a leader that acts immediately after hearing a concern from a parent. The teachers are challenging and at the same time caring. My children come me to school happy and leave happy too. What more can you ask for! At first I felt that the work was a little too the extreme but now that my kids have gotten used to the level of work, I can see that they are excelling. This school is a hidden treasure.
Under a new, enthusiastic and involved administration, WP has made huge positive changes in all areas - especially with developing a supportive school culture and community and with a focus on staff development and coordination - that are reflected in the overall high quality of student learning and achievement. And, now, with a full IB curriculum from grades 1 through 12, WP is truly representative and supportive of its diverse, international population. We have two kids moving through the Middle Years and Upper School programs at WP and our family is extremely happy to be part of this international school.
