COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:
The Wilson School is sized for success no matter the circumstances. Wilson families enjoyed the option of in-person or virtual learning through our ConnectED Flex program in 2020-21. We began the 2021-22 school year masked and distanced, and are keeping a close eye on CDC and local guidelines and restrictions. We are happy to report no gaps in learning for Wilson students throughout the pandemic. Learn More

As one of the oldest independent elementary schools in St. Louis, The Wilson School builds on its legacy of excellence to reach each student, whether in-person or online. Our children thrive in classes with an average size of eighteen to twenty students, with two full-time teachers in every grade level. Wilson students benefit from the best classic and innovative instructional methods, which combine a strong focus on character and social-emotional development with an accelerated curriculum. Graduates matriculate to and excel at the St. Louis area’s most competitive secondary schools, big and small. For more information, call the Admissions Office at (314) 725-4999.
Giving Back at The Wilson School
Wilson kindergarteners host a school-wide lemonade stand as part of a science unit. Teachers have partnered with Alex's Lemonade Stand, a non-profit that supports childhood cancer research. This year, students sold lemonade kits to our school community and surpassed their overall goal. This is one example of how students are encouraged to MYMAGO (Make Their Mark A Good One) at Wilson.

The Wilson School Reviews
Especially in the last four months, with the onset of COVID-19, the thing that my family appreciated the most was the school's focus on keeping the children engaged and connected to each other. The online learning, while challenging for little ones, was well organized and executed in ways that, to us as the parents, seemed....seamless. Our child is equipped with the tools that he needs for this summer to meet the challenges of the upcoming academic year.
