The White Mountain School is a wonderful, caring, connected, and diverse learning community. Set in a beautiful location, the school is well equipped to offer unique sports such as mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and skiing. Independent types who enjoy a thoughtful curriculum and an opportunity to explore new places will enjoy both the small class size as well as the field courses that allow students to engage with the world. The school is small enough to enable students to know all fellow students and staff, but large enough in its thinking to create positive extra-curricular options such as robotics, organic gardening, photography club, etc. A wonderful place that helps students develop the skills they will need to thrive in college. Adjusting to the boarding environment can be challenging, but the staff is always approachable and welcoming when it comes to ensuring student well-being. Thanks White Mountain...!

A wonderful community! Teachers care deeply and children feel heard and listened to in their studies/interests. The 2x a year the students get out and about are especially meaningful.
Most of the teachers are amazing and they really care. They go the extra mile to make sure you are on track and feel comfortable in your surroundings. The administration however needs help. They seem like they only care about the bottom line and not the students. You can tell there is a great divide between administration and the faculty. White Mountain is settled in a beautiful mountain community the sports and activities that they offer are amazing. The students go on two field courses a year for one week one in the Fall one in the Spring. The school offers great opportunities for learning and growth. I give the school two stars because you are only as good as your leadership. I feel like the administration is steering this school in the wrong direction with their treatment of their teachers, students, and parents. Relationships are in great need of repair and if they listen and open their eyes they can turn it around but that takes listening and work.
