Westminster gave me the challenges, opportunities and support to become the person I am today. I'm getting my degree at my university but I got my education at Westminster. Now having the chance to compare my high school experience to that of my friends in college it is even more clear that Westminster is an incredibly special place. I have always loved to learn and I think at any other school that love might have diminished instead of being nurtured. I will always treasure my time there!
Review The Westminster Schools
Our consistent national rankings say it all, and are true. This is a great school academically, teachers are great in their subjects and are usually well-known individuals, hard curriculum, but has variety. Be prepared to work. Also be prepared for that work to pay off once you graduate -- college is extremely easy once you have graduated from Westminster!
In terms of learning and positioning yourself for admission to and success in college, it's no contest—Westminster is the best. The extracurricular opportunities are similarly unparalleled. However, Westminster is NOT for everyone; it is super competitive, academically, athletically, and, most importantly, socially. Be prepared to struggle in a class or two, get cut from the lacrosse team, or get annoyed with the segmented friend groups. If you're smart, good-looking, and athletic, Westminster will be an incredible experience. If you're missing one or more of the aforementioned traits, Westminster is still worth it, but it'll occasionally be a grind.
