I have been at waverly for two years now and I love it! Everyone is very welcoming and kind, the teachers truly care about you and your wellbeing, and there's no social hierarchy. Everyone can be who they are without fear of judgment.

I am so excited about attending The Waverly School. I like the fact that the small setting allows classes to be "seminar style." I learn better and become very excited about and involved with the material in situations where discussion is this important. It really makes me feel that the school is centered on the students. This is why I am happy to be moving up from the middle school to the high school - the high school is like this, just like the middle school was, and I want my whole high school experience in class to be like this. Also, in a school this small, it is very easy to get individual help when I need it. The teachers are knowledgeable and really care for students.
The Waverly School is anything but ordinary and I would not have it any other way. The teachers encourage you to think outside of the box, to challenge the status quo, and question the world around you. There is an average of about twelve kids per class, and in a class that small, there is no where for you to hide in the background. You are forced to speak up and voice your opinions. I cannot begin to tell you how well that has prepared me for the "real world." You learn how to be an advocate, not only for yourself, but for your opinions and ideas. You are NOT forced to learn useless facts or remember ridiculous theorems like a robot, instead the teachers stimulate rich debates that can be applied to our society and its constant turmoil. At The Waverly School you are not a mindless drone or a dull copy of the person next to you, you are seen as a full, true, and vibrant individual who has a voice and concerns; there you are viewed as unique, as unique as the school itself.
