The Ursuline School Reviews
Rating 3.93 out of 5 172 reviews
From my very first experience here, which was at a shadow day, I saw that girls at the Ursuline School are very friendly, classy, and positive people. I have attended this school since freshman year and had never had a problem with feeling left out. I love this school because it has more diversity than other all girls schools in Westchester, and it provides a challenging education. Its main focus is Serviam, which everyone takes very seriously and the traditions here are amazing. Seniors experience most of the "fun traditions" like Ring day, which I am so excited about!
I have enjoyed the Ursuline School ever since I have been here since 8th grade. Junior year was most definitely my favorite year, as we had just come back from covid-19 quarantine and it was our first "normal" year. I have learned the most in my junior year than I ever had in previous years. I was enlightened about many different subject and topics throughout the course of the year because I am now a Junior. I have been set up for success, and because Junior year is the most important, my grades are the best they have ever been. The administration such as teachers and college counselors have also prepared me for college and the college process, and make sure I obtain all of the resources I need for this big step in my educational career! They have been preparing me for college since day one of the Ursuline school and I can say I have greatly changed in the most positive way since I had been attending this school. It has taught me to be a hard working, persistent, and kind woman.
It is a great catholic school, that highly regards academics. There are so many opportunities offered for the students there, although there are some flaws to the decision-making portion of it. Other than that, it is an excellent school with an excellent system, and the faculty are superior, as they show their care for every student there. However, there are some bad experiences that I and others have experienced. They should fix their acceptance into the program's system, as it fails to give everyone an opportunity. One thing I do not like is the fact that they host fall tryouts mid-summer when people are still traveling. Sometimes, people can not pick and choose when they return, as it increases the price they have to pay. They should host tryouts for sports a week into school or something around that, as it gives everyone a fair opportunity to tryout.
