My daughter has been at Sagemont for 5 years now and I plan to keep her here through high school. She has made wonderful academic growth as well as great social emotional growth. Sagemont has a nurturing family environment! They create a positive culture where students feel safe and truly LOVE to LEARN. They have amazing specialty classes with amazing teachers. Teaching goes beyond the books, giving my daughter real-world connections and personalized learning. The school guidance counselor is one of a kind, taking her time to address student needs and help build character and spread kindness. My daughter has opportunities to be part of clubs. Sagemont is a wonderful place to be! I am so grateful that all of my daughter's school experience has been here at Sagemont as it really has set such a wonderful foundation! I highly recommend Sagemont to all families looking for a rigorous, but well-balanced learning environment where there is emphasis on the whole child.

We were the last family that would probably consider private schooling. While he did great at Falcon Cove in 7th grade, we wanted a smaller school environment for him.
Sagemont exceeded our expectations in every way.
- Small class sizes
- Individual attention
- ALL the teachers knew our son's name and would watch out for him
- His writing and public speaking dramatically improved, thanks to his great English and Mock Trial teachers
- His self-confidence sky rocketed
- During the shutdown, while our daughter's public school at Zoom sessions for 1-2 hours per week, our son attended classes online from his normal 8:30 - 2:30 with much higher expectations than his public school counterparts
- We liked the school so much I started substitute teaching, volunteered, and helped to raise funds for the athletic program
The school has strong academics and a great family atmosphere. There is NO bullying at all and I was touched at how all the students looked after the special needs children.
The quality of the Sagemont School is not level with its high price tag for tuition. When I was a student, the administration was disorganized and ineffective. There was high teacher turnover. In turn, facilities such as the library were closed off from student use. The atmosphere was illiberal. From my perspective, operations began to improve during my senior year under the new administration of Dean Mockrish. He is an experienced educator who values the liberal principles that build a robust education. I hope things have improved since my graduation.
