My daughter has been at Sagemont for 5 years now and I plan to keep her here through high school. She has made wonderful academic growth as well as great social emotional growth. Sagemont has a nurturing family environment! They create a positive culture where students feel safe and truly LOVE to LEARN. They have amazing specialty classes with amazing teachers. Teaching goes beyond the books, giving my daughter real-world connections and personalized learning. The school guidance counselor is one of a kind, taking her time to address student needs and help build character and spread kindness. My daughter has opportunities to be part of clubs. Sagemont is a wonderful place to be! I am so grateful that all of my daughter's school experience has been here at Sagemont as it really has set such a wonderful foundation! I highly recommend Sagemont to all families looking for a rigorous, but well-balanced learning environment where there is emphasis on the whole child.

Sagemont (Lower School) is an excellent school and I couldn't have chosen a better school for my daughter. The curriculum is liberal arts based and excellent. There is a good balance between science, reading, math, writing and art and music with plenty of enrichment activities available. The after school enrichment activities are phenomenal. If you want your child to learn and have fun after school before going home or to play sports or whatever, Sagemont has something for every student from sports to science, chorus, baking and languages. The Head of School, Dr. Mockrish and the principle of the Lower School Ms. Vigna believe in balancing life and school so while there is a times homework it is not in anyway burdensome, too much or too often. The staff are extremely professional and friendly, and almost like an extension of your family. The class sizes are small and the teachers are excellent. You really can't choose a better school for your family.
I have had an amazing experience at Sagemont. My daughter has been a student at Sagemont for 4 years and I cannot speak more highly of the communication from teachers. I am always informed of my child's progress and areas needing improvement. The curriculum is challenging and they always include things in the real world, which my daughter loves.
