From The Regis School of the Sacred Heart

At its founding in 1991, The Regis School of the Sacred Heart became the first and only 3 Pre-K through 8th grade all-boys Sacred Heart school in the Houston area, fulfilling a need in the city’s Catholic community. The school’s founders—with the guidance of Archbishop Fiorenza—envisioned a unique educational environment for their sons, simultaneously grounded in rigorous academics and the Sacred Heart goals of faith, intellect, service, community and maturity. As part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, Regis is one of twenty-four Sacred Heart schools across the United States and Canada and one of more than 160 schools around the world. These schools are dedicated to the values of Christian education articulated more than 200 years ago by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, foundress of the Society of the Sacred Heart. The Sacred Heart Goals shape not only curriculum development, but also teaching practices, character education, and—most importantly—spiritual development.

Regis provided our son with an excellent academic foundation that prepared him for high school. He made friendships that continue well beyond the classroom experience. At Regis, he developed a strong faith foundation. Our family treasures the time we had at Regis - sending our son there was a great decision!

The Regis School is Awesome! My 2 boys love it! They are eager to go to school every day!
The teachers and faculty are so dedicated. They truly understand boys with their learning, religious and athletic needs.
Regis prepares boys to become true scholars and gentlemen.
Regis a Happy Place. Our son gets up eagerly every morning, looking forward to his day at school. When I pick him up each afternoon, he consistently rates his day as “Awesome” or “the best day ever.” They do a tremendous job of making learning fun, suitable for boys, while maintaining a rigorous academic curriculum and well balanced whole child approach. The community is welcoming and actively involved. The faculty and staff is warm, professional, and keen on our boys’ best interests. The Athletics Department shines as well. We couldn’t be happier at Regis. Well worth the investment.
