The Queens School of Inquiry Reviews
Rating 3.66 out of 5 149 reviews
I had an enjoyable experience at The Queens School of Inquiry and especially found the environment to be very comforting due to the smaller community. The connection that The Queens School of Inquiry has with Queens College was definitely my favorite experience as it gave me more freedom and gave me a glimpse of how college life is. I enjoyed being allowed the opportunity to attend the college library and gym, as well as the ability to to take college level courses. To be given the liberty to explore the college campus made my experience more enjoyable and definitely grew me as an independent individual, both socially as well as academically. However, I felt that the teachers at The Queens School of Inquiry could have been better when it came to the science department as I repeatedly had to teach myself concepts that were ill explained.
I really like the Queens School of Inquiry since they are an early college school. Just from being a freshman in highschool I was able to recieve college credit. Now I’m graduating in June with 55 college credits! It so amazing that they give highschool students this kind of opportunity. What a great high school!
When I attended, the teachers and professors were excellent and knew what they were doing. Although now, some of the best high school teachers in the math and science departments left. But the professors are still amazingly smart and talented people. The early college program is amazing and helps a lot with exposure to the college environment. If one is able to do well in high school classes and get them over with, they will find themselves in a better environment taking college classes. There is decent counseling. Also, some students are good people while others are not. It is important to associate with those good people. If you take advantage of the program, you will do well!
