Having been in public schools throughout Middle School, Quarry Lane has been a stellar, eye-opening high school experience for me. It has given me the opportunities to push myself academically and grow among intellectuals who also want to be successful individuals in their communities. The faculty and teachers are really supportive, from helping understand concepts in class to just being nice people to talk to about things outside of school, such as movies, music, sports, etc. The smaller grade sizes have also allowed for lots of independent clubs to flourish. Students who are passionate about their goals can achieve almost anything they set their minds to at Quarry Lane. Thanks to the open minded and generous community here at Quarry Lane, I have been able to explore numerous leadership positions in clubs while also building a solid educational foundation to prepare for college.

We are blessed to be part of The Quarry Lane School since 6th Grade. Now my son is going to be a freshman and its going to be our 4th year with the school. As a parent, I am very happy with the School Safety, Excellent Teachers, Great Curriculum, Very positive nurturing environment. Staff and faculty are highly engaged, welcoming to parents, and communicative about expectations. They also go the extra distance to address concerns and help all students reach their full potential. It's common for College Prep teachers to exude passion and deep knowledge of subjects. They make the subject matter engaging in ways that develop strong skills in writing, reading, conversation and collaboration. The combination of amazing teachers who want to help you, motivated students, and a diverse, safe environment make this easily one of the topmost private school in San Francisco Bay Area
Before selecting Quarry Lane (QLS), we reviewed all the East Bay Private Schools and even some SF Privates and we chose QLS instead. Now that our two sons have graduated and are attending excellent colleges (UC Berkeley Regents' and Chancellor's Scholar), we are so happy for our decision to choose QLS. Reasons: (1) Excellent Teachers who are Passionate About their Students, (2) Excellent Administration who are constantly Innovating / Improving the Academic Program, (3) Student's Benefit Tremendously from Easy Access to Leadership Opportunities, Clubs and Special Programs, (4) Strong Track Record of Students Gaining Admission into the Highest-quality Universities available anywhere, and (5) Multiple Strong Options Available to right-fit any Student into a Program for Success including: IB Diploma, Engineering, AP / Advanced Curriculum and More. Overall, we give The Quarry Lane School the highest possible recommendation for helping our two sons go from Good to Great!
