The teachers at The Pennington School are extremely passionate when it comes to meeting the needs of their students. The teachers at Pennington strive to make sure that every student thrives academically by providing a challenging and engaging learning experience. This experience helps each student explore their interests and identify their own strengths, as well as, overcome their weaknesses. The teachers take the time to get to know each student personally and provide endless support and encouragement. They lead by example, as they provide guidance and assistance in developing a strong, moral character that will benefit every student for his or her lifetime. Pennington's teachers understand that every student is different and their willingness to go above and beyond to meet each student's individual needs is the foundation for the success each student achieves. I have never experienced a school filled with teachers that are as compassionate and understanding as those at Pennington. The teachers love what they do so much it is contagious! I am proud to have had to opportunity to get to know each of my teachers and consider all of them friends and family!

Every teacher my child had for ninth grade went above and beyond to bring out his best. He has become a student serious about his work, always striving to do his best, and cares about working hard. This is a huge difference from the beginning of last year! The teachers remarks about him at conferences and on his report cards show how well they know him (and his is shy), so they all took the time to get to know him and the way he learns best, so that he could achieve his potential. What else could any parent want from a school?
There are various extracurricular opportunities at my school. Any type of club/organization/activity you can think of exists in one form or another. If there is an extracurricular that my school does not have, it is extremely easy to establish your own extracurricular activity. From personal experience, the more you get involved in, the more fulfilling your experience in school will be, and the more connections you will make in the community. Don't ever be afraid to try a new activity that might be out of your comfort zone. You never know- it may very well turn out to be one of your favorite activities to pursue well beyond your four years of high school. For me, the world of photography opened up to me when I extended my artistic boundaries. In doing so, I now hope to continue along this branch of the visual arts, even if it is just a hobby that makes me happy.
