If you want to stay away from light pollution, please do come to Orme, where you will see the clear sky of stars every night. If you wish to see the beautiful mixture of colors whenever the sun goes back to sleep, please do come to Orme, where every sunset is a picturesque dream that you cannot wait to see again. If you hope to see how great and supportive a relationship you would have with a teacher can be, please do come to Orme. Orme has its own flaws, but there are details that have made my Orme experience stay in my heart forever. I appreciate the opportunity that I have been given. Thank you, Orme!

I believe that numbers speak for themselves. Here are some statistics for 2018:

-Number of 4-year seniors in the class of 2018: 3
-Number of seniors in the class of 2018: 42
-Number of returning teachers in the 2018-2019 school year: 12
-Number of teachers in the 2018-2019 school year: 19

Many teachers and students do not stay at Orme for many years. This fact indicates a low level of student and teacher satisfaction with the school. If you are considering attending Orme, the best way to receive honest feedbacks about the school is to reach out to past students or teachers. Do not rely solely on opinions from admission office.
Living in a boarding school with my teachers was something completely new to me. For the first time, I got the opportunity to develop stronger bonds with the faculty members and learn from them beyond the classroom. At the beginning of the school year, each student was assigned to a teacher, with whom they would be able to have dinner once a week and reach out for help in case they needed. Therefore, all the students were provided the opportunity to be known for their individual characteristics.
The most unique feature of the Orme School for me was the diversity. There were more than twenty countries from all over world represented in the student body. My closest friends were from Spain, Sweden, Thailand, China, Korea and Ireland.
However, the school had its problems. I believe one my AP teachers was not qualified to teach an AP subject. All of her classes were based on videos of other people and she was not able to answer my questions. The school's college guidance was poor.
