The O'Neal School Reviews

3 years have been quite an adventure for my family at O'Neal. Coming from a large school, downsizing has taken time to adjust to. I felt that there was more diversity in student population, athletics, academics, and thought. If I want to have a debate or philosophical conversation,I usually have it with a teacher. My peers can sometimes be like-minded in the classroom and athletics. I also struggle with the fact that O'Neal's arts program is limited. In addition to the expansion of arts, I suggest that there are more diverse elective classes! For example, I find that adding PE or film classes would transform the homogenous of O'Neal. I also wish certain sports were not as emphasized as much as they are. It's evident that they are receiving more resources than others- maybe other sports would be able to do as well with equal funds? The reason as to why I scored O'Neal with 4 stars is because of the student-teacher relationships! I have made incredible connections with the faculty.

There isn't a better school in the area. The O'Neal School provides a friendly and supportive environment for students and parents in addition to a rigorous academic program, good athletics, and a vibrant arts program. Unlike the public or even local private schools, the O'Neal School students are enriched with art and music classes from Pre-K through 12th Grade. Small classes with committed and supportive teachers encourage active participation, enabling students to become confident amongst their peers. The school offers many fun clubs as well as academic clubs: Science Olympiad, Battle of the Books, Math Counts, Debate and Speech, etc. Everyone goes on to college. Great school!
The O’Neal School has brought a lot of value to my academic career for the 3 years I have been here. The teachers are amazing and come everyday to make my classmates and I more prepared for college. The O’Neal atmosphere is something you don’t feel at every school. It’s an atmosphere that can’t be described in words but only seen with your eyes. Not only has the educational aspect has brought me value but also the athletics. The awesome facilities on the O'Neal campus has brought many victories to our Falcon teams. The experience at O'Neal as phenomenal and I know that as my years gone on it will only get better.
