At this school, there are many opportunities to have students become college-ready. We often take notes, have grades, and act as if we are enveloped in a college environment. The teachers explain our assignments throughougly, resulting in getting high grades on tests and quizzes. As an AVID curricular school, teachers toward students try their very best to help each other understand the material and gradually become a well rounded student. As we have a relatively small campus, there is a ratio between students and staff that can individually help is out more. If we need any mental, physical, or emotional health, they are always happy to support.
Being in this school for the past years of high school was great! I got to meet some new people and got very close with some of them. The clubs at the school are honestly really fun and is a great way to spend some time with your friends. I would say some of the staff are okay some would just get you in trouble for no reason but some of the staff were nice and were there for you if you needed assistant. Overall my experience at this school was great I got to learn a lot more about college and what I am going to do for my future.
This school was a great environment since the first day I attended. Met new people day after day, made great relationships with teachers getting well with them. Some people may disagree with this school especially with the rules this school had. They always argue about the uniform or about the specific guidelines. I never had a problem with them, I think its a great way to be professional. Moving on to activities, there are various of things to do sports, clubs, after school programs. There are all enjoyable . I even do them till this day.
