Why Oakridge? That is not a simple answer. Some may say it has to do with our academics, small class sizes, 100 percent of our graduates attend college, or the remarkable percentage of National Merit Scholars and Finalists. Others will say it is because of our impressive fine arts program and the opportunities to sing at Carnegie Hall or participate in a musical with a student-created set and accompanied by an orchestra. Still others will say that it has to do with our athletic program in which all students get to participate in the sport (or sports) of their choice, and where former professional athletes begin to develop fundamentals with our youngest Owls, as well as coach our oldest ones, too. Almost everyone in our community would say why they chose (and what they love about) Oakridge is intangible. It's that feeling of family, community, and support you get when you're on our campus. Come and feel for yourself. Let us know when you're ready. We can't wait to meet you!

I have loved my Oakridge School experience. I have been attending since I was 3 years old, and I still love it! It has a very nurturing environment. The faculty and staff are always supporting us and ready to help in whatever way they can. I love that the school focuses on "the 3 A's" - Academics, Arts, and Athletics. This has helped me to become a well rounded person. The clubs and organizations offered here are amazing. If there is a club you are interested in, but it is not offered, it is easy to start yourself! I feel valued at this school, and that is hard to come by. The teachers and administration care about you in and out of the classroom. The athletic teams may not be the best, but each team has lots of fun. The arts offered here are amazing. The choir, strings, art, and drama departments are very successful. In every aspect, students are challenged to be their best. I feel like I am being very prepared for college. I really like this school, and I know my parents do too!

The Oakridge School is a highly successful college preparatory school. Oakridge provides an excellent academic environment through innovative teaching and technology. The faculty and staff are caring, nurturing people who want the best for our children. This alone is why Oakridge is so successful. A great environment for our kids to learn and grow. We highly recommend Oakridge!
Very disappointed that Oakridge decided to go ahead with their annual raise in Tuition during COVID. The end of the 2020 spring semester was online. They handled that well, but no refund was offered for the other amenities that we pay for in private school. As parents of children that have been at Oakridge for many years , always paid Full Fee tuition as well as annual donations, it would have been nice to have received a financial break due to the economic hardships that a lot of families have and will suffer going forward. We feel a lot of families at Oakridge benefit from financial assistance. Please realize that when a family has been able to pay full fee year after year, a certain respect and appreciation should be given during such unusual times. A COVID Discount given to Full Fee parents would go a log way toward saying that we appreciate your support and that we are all in this together.
