The Nora School Reviews
Rating 4.44 out of 5 25 reviews
The community is so small. The school is all about kindness and acceptance but in reality, the staff and administrators do absolutely nothing when it comes to things like bullying. Most of the teachers are nice and understanding, but they have trouble holding boundaries and in my time at Nora I don’t think I really learned anything in my classes.
Nora is a wonderful school that prioritizes student health and well being. Teachers genuinely care about how students are doing and are flexible in accommodating people's needs. They also teach classes they are passionate about. Grades are based on personal growth rather than comparative performance, and lots of support is available so that students are met where they're at. My pronouns are respected, and everyone is made to feel welcome. I feel like I finally got to have a normal high school experience that I was never able to have at my old school. College prep has also been so amazing, not overly stressful or confusing with lots of help along the way.
Nora is an amazing school. The faculty and team have created a safe place and a true family feel. My daughter has received top notch instruction and learning preparing her for college and next steps. They are accommodating, open and truly caring. The small class sizes gives the students the ability to connect with other students and teachers unlike most public schools or larger private schools. I can't say enough about our positive experience 2 years into her Nora education!!!
