I've attended this school since fourth grade and I definitely had my ups and downs. I've been fortunate enough be taught by amazing teachers throughout my middle and high school experience. They have guided me, opened my mind and prepared me to face the challenges roaming out there after I graduate. However, there are topics the school could work on from some of the food they provide for lunch to expanding more recognition to the arts. the high cost to attend this school was also a struggle for my family. However, I'm very thankful for being able to experience the diversity and enlightenment offered by this school.
Review The Montclair Kimberley Academy
I attended Montclair Kimberley Academy from pre-k through 12th grade, and I am very grateful for everything the school gave and taught me. The teachers are engaging and passionate about what they do, and the school makes every effort to cultivate a diverse, supportive learning and growing community.
I have long wished that the school my children attend would have the things that MKA offer. I feel very lucky that my child has had the opportunity to be part of this community. Reading some of the student reviews, I think kids on a whole don't always realize what they have when they have it. This school is EXCELLENT. Trust me, I've seen the other side of the coin, and it isn't always beautiful. The faclities are fantastic, the teachers are very open minded and truly care about the curriculum they teach. The school offers everyting from local volunteer opportunities, to Global Experience programs going to Tanzania, France and China, as well as a very well developed art and music department, and excellent sports opportunities. There are kidh here from every walk of life—the one thing they all have in common is the love of learning and the will to put in the hard work that it takes to succeed. OMaybe I've just been lucky, but once the Advisors see anything they think may be an issue, you're contacted immediately.

Overall? The best there is.
