TMS is an excellent school! It provides a well-rounded education - where your student will be 'well-known and well-loved'. My sons have been at TMS since kindergarten and are now Juniors. The support they have been provided throughout their time has been amazing! And now at this critical time where they are exploring college options, I've found the College Placement office to be exceptional! They are coming alongside my sons and we as parents, to demystify this process and ease us through this coming transition. Phenomenal faculty, academics, athletic program, spiritual and social life! Simply the best school we could have chosen for our sons!
We have 3 children at The Master's School from kindergarten to 6th grade. We have loved the amazing teachers who care deeply about the students as learners and as people. The small class size keeps students from falling through the cracks and allows the teachers to really know your child and their needs. We are so pleased that the school has a Christian worldview that allows students to learn and thrive in a safe environment. The focus is "education from the inside out" and that is truly the way this school approaches education. My children have all thrived academically there as well. The teachers have challenged them and pushed them to strive for academic excellence. And if you haven't seen the beautiful campus, you have to drive up the hill to check it out. It's amazing!
The Master's School has been my 'home' since Kindergarten. I have made many life long friends, and have had my interests nurtured and sparked. I especially love the S.T.E.M. program - the science programs are amazing - and the lab work starts even in the Lower School. (In Kindergarten I dissected owl pellets to study their diet! And in 3rd grade we tapped maple trees and made our own maple syrup!) Exciting opportunities have continued through Middles School and Upper School. And the math program has prepared me well (great results on the PSATs!) I've enjoyed all the sports programs, music, theater, and clubs. From Science Olympiad, Model UN, Debate, to Ecology club - there have been great options! I'm grateful for the teachers though - they share their knowledge and give freely of their time to provide extra help where and when needed. I've had teachers meet me before school, after school, at lunch - whenever I've asked!
