I love TMLA. There is definitely room for improvement though. I think the honors & AP classes are very well developed. All my teachers are so caring & understanding. The student life is thriving, with the wonderful clubs & activities that the school has to offer. The school’s art major program is also extraordinary, & the teachers in the art department make it feel like home. There are some cons, like the overpriced lunches. They’re not the healthiest options & you’d have to spend more than $10 to enjoy a nutritious meal. They could also work on improving the poor WiFi connection. In my grade, however, & probably in the other grades, there are girls that show no signs of respect at all. I’ve noticed, whenever a student presents, there is always people mocking the presenter. Also, many students mock the teachers. There are some students that make fun of certain teacher’s looks, accents & races. The school must do something about this. Overall, I recommend this school!

The experience was very wonderful and The Mary Louis Academy has made some of the best moments of my life. There is a very strong sense of community and a lot of inclusive events to encourage diversity. But the grading system is sometimes to the disadvantage of the students and some teachers and their teaching style were just abysmal! Some teachers can’t teach or should never have been allowed to teach at all! But out of four years, those kind of teachers only amount to about three. Overall, the administration and faculty want to see you succeed at the college level.
this was by far the BEST 4 years of my life! Coming from a public school I did not know what to expect, but i was greeted with open arms. This school embraces culture, community, academics, sports, and dignity. If I could do it all over again I would. The Mary Louis Academy makes you feel like your community of girls is part of something much bigger, because we are. All faculty want nothing but the best for everyone, and are not afraid to help you achieve it. The school does a great job of keeping up with the times as well, always introducing new subjects, technology, and ideals.
