I was somewhat disappointed with the academic culture exhibited at the school. The lower level was more organized than the upper level. Some of the upper level students were out of control.
The school was located in a church, directly adjacent to a train track. The upper level classes were in trailers next to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Students were constantly exposed to noise from both. There were excellent 8th grade trips and the band was phenomenal. There were cliques in the upper level.

Our sons have attended TMSA for years and have had a stellar experience. What sets TMSA apart, for me, is the culture (based on 8 Core Values), academic rigor and strong teachers, extracurricular offerings, and probably most of all - the parental involvement. That part makes it feel like a family, which is a great learning environment for kids.
