My overall experience at The Linsly School was top notch! I entered school as a 7th grader. At first I was intimidated and nervous and wasn't sure that I would be able to handle the high demands that would be placed on me. However, the teachers went above and beyond to make sure that not only you could succeed at school but they instilled a belief in me that I can and will take what I've learned and be as successful in college as I have been in high school!

Overall, I liked being at this school. For the area it easily provides the b best education you can get, and it really does prepare you to work hard. It teaches you a lot of important lessons, especially that hard work is paramount to success. However, there are some areas in which the school is lacking. Its music and science departments are lacking, and an issue of which I feel the school should address in the near future. Music and arts are just simply not prioritized or funded properly, the department lacks the resources to do well, it is not a problem with the teachers. However, the science and math departments do have some issues with teachers. A few of the teachers in this department lack the knowledge about their specific field to really provide a good education in the specific field, as well as some of the teachers being very easily distracted or even imposing their own political beliefs upon the students.
I really enjoyed attending this school, the teachers at the school really care about the students and their job so you are guaranteed to have a good relationship with the teachers there. The education system is challenging, but also very rewarding and the school always puts education before anything. You are also guaranteed to meet and make friends at Linsly, as the school has a camping trip that all grades attend and has multiple friend building activities. I highly recommend Linsly for parents who are interested in setting up your child for a successful future.
