The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts appreciates and accepts everyone through artistic expression. Students are able to grasp the concept of collaboration and hard work through vigorous learning both in their major and academically. Teachers and admisnistration strive for each and every student to feel accepted and safe. There is an amazing trust between students and teachers which allows independence and freedom on both parties. The adults are very understanding of stressful situations and will work with the student closely to ensure growth. I have learned so much in my short amount of time here and am excited to go to school each morning. I'm so glad I go here!

Attending Charter Arts was an experience that you couldn't get at any other school in the country, whether they're an arts school or not. Which has much to do with the location, the people that you meet, whether its your teachers or your peers, and the opportunities that are available to learn and grow in whichever major you're passionate about enough to go attend it for. It's a small school, so you end up knowing most names or faces. The time spent working on an artistic major every day can be exciting and beautiful, but sometimes a little draining when trying to balance with the normal academics and worries of the average high school student. But with faculty members that are passionate and eager to help you grow in your arts and academics, it ends up being worth it. There needs to be more students who are going to the school because they are actually passionate about their major. Without them, everything changes, and the school begins to fail.
I was able to freely study my art, and have an education in academics that prepared me for college. Students who were accepting of others and teachers who worked with us and understood our busy lives left me with a high school experience I will never forget!
