Charter Arts is a fabulous school if you're interested in expanding your artistic horizons. It has 7 majors, including vocal, figure skating, instrumental, theatre, visual art, literary arts, and dance. As a senior visual art major, I can say that coming to this school was the best decision of my life. I have learned to strengthen my art skills by learning new techniques and exploring new mediums, such as oil painting and sculpting with clay. This school isn't only known for its arts, but I have also been challenged with the rigorous academic classes. It is a lot of hard work to balance art and academics but I have a positive view on it and I think it's important to set priorities. However, I would like to see a wider selection of electives in the future.

From my experience at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts is that the people who make up the faculty and students really make the school what it is. By bringing together so many talented individuals you learn so much diversity and individuality. When you go to a school with less than 40 students in your senior major such as dance you learn it is important to stand out from the rest. How to define yourself when some people are not even looking at you. When In such a small space and class it brought us together and helped create a nurturing and encouraging environment. From arts to education I never felt alone if I was struggling or needed encouragement. The education within its self was a little lacking but it is what you learned socially with peers that was much more beneficial for me.
A beautiful place to expand your artistic creativity while still having a focus on your academics as well. The atmosphere is uplifting, and family-like especially with the new development in the faculty.
