As parents, based on word of mouth recommendations, online reviews, etc., we leave our kids in the hands of teachers and staff and hope for the best. We hope they are safe, cared for, loved and valued. I can honestly say Laurel Hill has delivered all of that and so much more. From the greeters each morning to the welcome from staff, it’s very easy to feel at peace knowing my child is in the very best care I could ever choose. Watching Zac grow into this smart, well spoken, funny, social, inquisitive, conversational, knowledgeable little boy has been nothing short of incredible. I owe so much of who he has become to his time at Laurel Hill. A huge thank you to Mrs. Theisen and Mrs. S. who welcomed him with open arms and open hearts. Their patience, love of teaching and ability to wrangle up fifteen kids is pretty awe inspiring. Because of Laurel Hill, he has grown a love of learning and a yearning to be in a school setting!

After attending a daycare for the first year and a half of my son's life, I knew that it was time to find somewhere else to send him. After much consideration, my husband and I decided on the Laurel Hill School, even though it adds 35 minutes to our morning commute and is completely out of our way. This difficult decision is the best one I have ever made. My son is 2 and speaks in full sentences, knows the alphabet, and can count to 20. More than that, I know how much he genuinely loves his teachers and how much they love him! Would give them 10 starts if I could.
You know your children are attending a wonderful school when the administration and staff did not skip a beat during the pandemic and shifted to online learning to continue with their curriculum as if nothing had changed. Both our children have had productive yet fun days and while they may miss having face to face interactions with their teachers and friends, they continue to have a positive learning experience through live zoom classes.
Hopefully this is once in a lifetime but we are assured that if online learning had to be adopted for any reason, they will continue to make progress despite the changes.
Prior to these changes, the school has been a second home for our children. Never did I experience that first school day sadness as I knew they are in the best of hands and within a circle of people who care for their well being and growth as family would.
