Kiski is a strong school fully focused on teaching and motivating boys and preparing them to be successful leaders in our complex world. More than any other School, Kiski always finds a way to connect with and excite each individual boy at the School. The Kiski campus is beautiful and the recently completed $35 million capital campaign has allowed the School to fully update and expand each dorm and build a wonderful new Student Center and an incredible new Athletic Center and a wonderful new outdoor athletic center as well which includes a brand new track and turf field. Kiski is focused on the sciences and the teaching of STEAM and entrepreneurial thinking in the classroom. Kiski Students are very respectful and well behaved. They come from many different states and countries. Kiski has a positive sense of diversity on campus. I encourage all parents to make the time to visit this welcoming and down-to-earth boarding school.

The Kiski School is a great prep school fully focused on motivating and educating boys. Kiski has dedicated teachers, student advisors, and coaches and many of them reside in and lead the dorms. Kiski has a gorgeous campus with great indoor/outdoor facilities. College placement is strong. The students benefit from successful & recent capital campaigns and renovations to campus. The student center is wonderful, the updated dorms are comfortable, and the new athletic center is superb. The students are required to take part in a sport each season and this has a positive impact on the united culture of the school. There are different music/art clubs and they've been adding exciting new STEAM components to the curriculum. Nice weekend activities for the students including dances, concerts, movies, and trips to restaurants and museums in Pittsburgh. A special positive "Kiski brotherhood" that exists and permeates the campus. It's true: Kiski is a transformational place for boys.
The Headmaster has been at Kiski for 15 years and in that time many transformational improvements have been completed. Campus facilities have been expanded, renovated, or built to meet student needs including all of the dorms, athletic facilities, a superb new student center and the beautification of the 350-acre campus exceeding millions of dollars. Important characteristics of the School are: small (only 206 students 6:1 student teacher ratio), virtually all boarding (of the 206 students, 200 are boarding), nearly all of the faculty live on the campus with their families which provides access to extra help for students easily. But the most significant characteristic of Kiski is the all-male environment. This allows us to employ best practices for teaching boys, boy centric teaching methods, and to practice in all disciplines project-based learning. The boys are thriving, happy and safe. The college list is remarkable. And, they are confident when they graduate.
