I love the King's Academy! My daughter is currently in middle school there and has been attending since 1st grade. Do they have top-of-the-line everything? No. It's a parent-led, private funded school. A gymnasium is in the works to be built soon. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars for the facilities. There could be clubs, etc. for the students to get involved in like in public schools. But she's not in the high school yet, so I'm not sure what they offer there. Academics, this school is wonderful. Ahead of the curve for sure, they help the students strive for excellence. Small teacher:student ratios mean more dedicated time for learning and understanding. The teachers and staff all want to be there and genuinely care about our children. Having a teacher care whether or not your child succeeds in what they're teaching says so much. We love this school family and are so happy to be a part of it!
Such a great community of dedicated teachers and staff. The school is excellent with college readiness and school culture. It also is a great value for a Christian, private school. They have several sports teams even though they must practice and play off campus because they don't have the facilities to play there. The teachers are dedicated and have excellent credentials. The school really feels like a family!
The King's Academy is a very good school with small classes and teachers that are both connected and passionate about their subjects. With the ability to connect with each and every student to meet their emotional, academic and financial requirements, The King's Academy is a good school to consider for pre-K through 12th grade. The King's Academy is invested both in the character and well-being of each student and provides Christ centered learning and growth. Despite the occasional high school drama, the overall feeling of the school is well rounded and welcoming. The school invested heavily in an excellent international program that brings in high school students from other countries to experience the US and US culture, this unique international program introduces much diversity and culture blending, teaching both the international and citizens of the US about international culture and values.
