A school with a very diverse student-base, safe environment, family oriented, good teachers. I have seen a lot of improvement in terms of facilities, academics & curriculum, activities.
Review The Kew-Forest School
The best extracurricular options are Model UN and Mock Trial. Our Mock Trial has gone to states for the past two years and are bound to win them this year. Our Model UN team regularly wins awards at conferences such as Rutgers MUN and Harvard MUN. Our sports teams are ok, but thats what you get if you attend a really small private school. There are also non competitive sports such as Archery and Ping Pong. Other activities, created and led by students include Music Club, Anime Club, and more. The bell choir and the school plays are always fun to take part in/ watch. There is also book club and the AMC Math club. The school provides many after school options and at times I will be finding myself leaving school at around 6pm or even 7pm!
The Kew-Forest School is hands down the best private school in Queens. My sons are both in the Lower School and are attending now for the third year. They are absolutely thriving both socially and academically. I feel safe and reassured each day that I drop them at school. The faculty are tremendous and continuously update me about their progress.
