The Ivy School Reviews

Pros:
Many of the teachers truly care about what they are teaching

Lots of field trips

The 1-6 grade classes have excellent supplies

Cons:
Terrible disciplinary action

Very emotional teachers once had an experience there which resulted in screaming, swearing, tears and threats to leave school from students.

Rats to be classroom pets terrible smell and animal abuse by some students

Overall my experience at this school was alright as I made good friends and the teachers I had were pretty thoughtful . Another problem I had is the lack of disciplinary action for students and teachers who were out of line. My last complaint is the support given to students who are below average a friend once had the educational aid tell her as motivation"Well you know all your friends are smart and you want to be smart too so that you can impress them".So basically help is given where unwanted and areas where support is needed can be often forgotten or ignored even if the help is wanted.

They try hard but the administration is very challenged. Some internal squabbles and lack of understanding about their responsibilities.
