From The Gregory School

Since 1980, The Gregory School has offered a challenging curriculum, small class sizes, accomplished and dedicated faculty, a pervasive sense of community, and state-of-the-art facilities. At TGS, students experience their education: They pursue passions, build relationships with teachers, and participate in the community.

On any given day you can find students delivering monologues in the theater, earning college credit in chemistry class, building an invention in the MIT Fab Lab, playing sports, creating art, tutoring peers in the writing center, playing music, dancing, teaching senior citizens to use technology, and more.

The Gregory School is transforming learning and transforming students' lives. Our students lead institutions, found movements, invent technology, run cities. Students leave TGS with a sense of agency; they believe they can change the world for the better and it is our aim to ensure we give them the knowledge, skills, experiences and confidence to do so.

The Gregory School has some of the best academics in Tucson mainly due to the engaged and passionate faculty. The community is close knit and makes every last effort to include each student in school and local activities. The college counseling office is arguably the best in Tucson with a knowledgable counselor who attends to your needs on a day to day basis. She is by far the most understanding professional on campus that ensures your future successes in life. I am definitely looking forward to working with her on my college applications and essays. The only caveat with TGS is the small student body that leaves many in search of larger social pools. My siblings struggled with finding friends within their grade and eventually looked outside for their social circles. All in all a great school that prepares you for the future especially the next level of education whether it be college, trade school, the military, gap years, or career opportunities.

The Gregory School is an excellent, inclusive private school that helps students become ready for college. I arrived at TGS as a 7th grader, and experienced kindness from every student and teacher. I also feel as though this school allowed me to open up to my true self and expand my intelligence farther than I ever thought I could. The teachers and admin really care about each one of their students, and go above and beyond in order to ensure that they are getting the best quality of education, no matter what their income is. Go Hawks!!
My son just started his fifth year at The Gregory School, and I cannot say enough good things about the school. Because of the small classes, opportunities to explore interests, and teachers willing to work individually with students, he is thriving. He has multiple favorite classes and teachers, and looks forward to going to school. As a parent, I am so grateful for all that The Gregory School offers!
