The Greene School is a small school in the middle of the West Greenwich woods. Has a population of about 250 students. They’re focused on Expeditionary learning, and a low student to teacher teaching style to focus on the individuality and the needs of each student. The Greene School accepts student from all over Rhode Island, providing busses and other transportation ways. One of the best things about the Greene School is that they’re focused on College Prep and provide so many useful resources for their students who are college bound. If I were asked to change something about The Greene School, I would make space for more clubs that help students develop hobbies they could carry into a career. For example, I’d start a robotics club or a culinary for beginners class. The Greene School Overall gives us a lot of club options, but there are no sports which limit many of the athletic kids.

The Greene School was such an amazing and unique experience, I highly recommend this school to anyone that loves the outdoors or learning in a quirky way. Because I went here, I will have great memories to last me a lifetime!
As a senior I have had a positive experience at The Greene School. The mission statement of my high school resinates with me. "We develop leaders and citizens engaged in finding peaceful and sustainable solutions
to local and global challenges." Both students and teachers push environmental and social justice as a priority. We have events such as peace week and wilderness to get students involved in these values. Now that I am near graduating I feel well prepared for college. The Greene School has made me a more politicly involved and environmentally conscious person.
One criticism on this school would be its lack of money, as it is a charter school. This prevents it from having sports.
