One of the best decisions we have made to send our kids to such an amazing school! Gooden not only excels in academics but also in extracurricular classes such as STEAM, art, music, Spanish, Latin, PE, chapel, drama, etc. The teachers and administrators are exceptional. The after school program is wonderful allowing students to choose from art, sports, games, homework assistance and free play around their beautiful campus. We are so fortunate to be a part of the Gooden School community.

We love Gooden! This is a diamond in the rough school. Small and mighty. During this pandemic Mrs. Paz welcomed my nervous little kindergartener with open arms (on zoom) and made her feel seen. They go above and beyond, personally dropping off supplies to our house and meeting as often as we like just to chat. This is a school that is creative and challenging while being extremely nurturing.
The Gooden School is so special. If you are looking for an elementary or middle school program which expertly balances challenging academics within a supportive and nurturing community, then this is the school for you. The community is tight-knit and warm, the faculty are engaging and knowledgeable, and the academic program deftly incorporates multiple STEAM, language, music, art, and drama classes into the curriculum. What drew me to The Gooden School is, by far, the students. They are respectful, polite, and inclusive. When they graduate, the high schools report back that Gooden students are prepared, involved, and liked by all. I highly recommend this exceptional school to anyone interested in raising - not only smart kids - but kind kids who care about others and the world.
