I have had a wonderful experience at my school. I have been at my school for my entire life and they make a consistent effort to make sure the the classes we are experiencing I high school now are equivalent to the course difficulty we will have in college. My teachers and peers truly care about me and want to make an impact.
TFCA is a very welcoming school. The teachers strive to develop relationships with their students, parents, and coworkers, because of this, TFCA is like a family. Everyone takes care of one another. I love watching students develop relationships with their teachers, as well as, students in other grades. Christian education is of important value and is integrated into each subject. It is so fun watching students make connections from scripture in other subjects, not just in Bible class. One of my favorite times of the week is chapel. Students get to praise Jesus and learn from a speaker more about His word. Speaking as a teacher, alumni, and parent, TFCA is an amazing school to send your child to.
As a parent, it was almost impossible for me to think about sending my kids to school in the world we live in today. The things our kids are faced with are almost unfathomable, and at such young ages. From the very beginning, the teacher at TFCA loved my kids, pointed them to Christ, and protected them from the things of this world as much as they could. My son not only has a deep knowledge and love for the Lord but he has also been pushed to excel academically. What a blessing.
I came to The Frankfort Christain Academy for my senior year, and it was definitely the best place to spend it. The teachers, at least the few I got to spend time with, were all amazing and were so passionate for teaching. I had so many opportunities in things like sports and music, and made so many friends, some of which I'll get to spend my college years with. It's not perfect (no school is), but it beat every single public school I've been to by a long shot. Just like any other school, though, it's up to you to make the most of it.
We have 3 children enrolled in TFCA. We made the transition from public during the pandemic because we wanted a school that took appropriate measures of risk avoidance given the students age and health, while also considering their long-term well being. This will be our 3rd year. It has been an amazing experience. Our kids have thrived both academically and socially. It is comforting knowing they are surrounded by godly teachers and staff that care about their souls, as well as their academics. TFCA provides personal engagement with our kids and us as parents. They listen to our concerns and feedback and provide a timely and appropriate response. We plan on our kids attending TFCA all the way through.
tFCA has been a blessing to our family. The staff genuinely care about the academic and spiritual growth of my kids. They have been consistent and loyal to serve especially through the uncertainty of COVID-19. Every year they add academic and extra curricular activities to provide more opportunity. We have been a part of this school since 2013 and have no intention of taking our children anywhere else.
I have had all three of my daughters attend this school. Each of them had a wonderful experience, gaining both academically and spiritually things that would help them grow in the future . The teachers at the academy really care about the students and their success .
I didn’t think anyone else could care about my kids’ education and solid upbringing as much as I do until I visited TFCA. The teachers and staff treat and care for my kids like their own!
As a teacher, I have felt incredibly supported by the staff and administration. Everyone feels like family. Young elementary students high five high school students in the hallways. Middle school students pair up as reading buddies with kindergarteners. When someone in the school is hurting, the whole school is there for them. I could not ask for a better school to work at!
TFCA is great place. I liked the friendships that I was able to make at TFCA. In addition, I loved the individualized education and teacher attention I was able get since class sizes are smaller. TFCA did a great job preparing me for college and beyond!
My boys have been attending TFCA the last two years and they all have truly enjoyed their experience at TFCA. Their teachers are understanding, loving, and really care about my boys’ well-being. I recommend this school to everyone who is looking for a Well rounded Christian School.
We have had an excellent experience with TFCA. The staff is always helpful, from communicating to teachers or office about events and help, to the little things like my child forgetting their lunch. We’ve loved every teacher we’ve encountered and have built friendships with peers and parents each year. The principal and office staff work hard to keep students safe with building upgrades. What might be most important for our home is the number of Jesus centered conversations our child has come home with. She’s learned a lot about typical school subjects, but she’s seen Jesus and talked about Him almost every day while attending TFCA.
We have had students in each area of the school: preschool, elementary, middle and high school. With two graduates of the school, we have been exceptionally pleased with the experience our students have had at TFCA. From caring teachers to creative experiences, like Xtreme Week to spiritual growth opportunities through chapel, bible study, bible classes, MS/HS fall retreat and more, our students have grown in their faith. We know this foundation at TFCA is important for them as they step out into the world and continue to seek God in their academic and vocational pursuits.
Everyone knows each other and you can get help with your work in any class because of their small size. Teachers are nice and always willing to help, and everyone is friendly.
I like the small classroom setting and the teachers. Overall, everyone is pretty nice, and chapel is cool.
It is a great environment for PK, and elementary school. Middle school students are wild and do not recieve proper discipline. The high school is very understaffed when I attended and did not meet some requirements below. The teachers, however, develop great relationships with students. Afterschool clubs and activities for students are little to non-existent here.
Best education in Franklin County. My child loves their classmates and teachers. Their teachers tell me if something is off or wrong, and really love and care for them.
My daughter attended TFCA and graduated in 2016 from TFCA. She was well prepared for college and has been a successful college student. She loves returning to school and checking in with the teachers. She describes TFCA as part of her "family".
I enjoy the family and accepting atmosphere at The Frankfort Christian Academy. Our student population is diverse and encourages acceptance and mutual respect. If I could change anything, it would to be more consistency and structure in how disciplinary issues are addressed from middle to high school.
We are a small school, which makes competitive extracurricular options more difficult. I have seen much growth in this area during my time here though.
