My children have very different personalities, along with different social-emotional needs and challenges. Evergreen knows each kid quite well. Each time we hit a rough patch, there was dialogue and teamwork with the faculty and counselors, which I really appreciated. The older students set their own goals and run their own parent conferences. Kids using powerpoint! But in all seriousness, this self-reflection and ownership seems like excellent preparation for a future of independent learning. Oh yeah, and the BIG Lab, a high-tech makerspace, is amazing. I wish I could go here.

The Evergreen School is a true GEM. We feel so good knowing that our kids are in a loving, supportive environment where they are treated as individuals and challenged at their OWN levels. The bonus is the thoughtfully selected peer group - having your child around others that challenge their thinking and ideas is a gift and hard to find. We can't recommend Evergreen enough!
We couldn't be happier with The Evergreen School. Our child comes home from school every day overflowing with enthusiasm about the hands-on learning opportunites. He's thriving from the social emotional emphasis, which is woven through all aspects of the day from the playground to the Big Lab -- the maker space that he also loves. Teachers and specialists seem to find the "just right" level for each student, which keeps them challenged and engaged. The school is also a welcoming, warm place for parents and we've loved becoming part of such an inclusive community.
