COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:
Ensworth opened with in-person learning in August 2020 with significant changes to campus practices, protocols, and spaces. Leadership consults with a Medical Advisory Committee every week to assess the current situation with COVID-19 in our community. Should the need arise, our faculty is ready to transition to a remote learning program that will effectively challenge and support our students. Learn More

I have gone to Ensworth since 5th grade. Being at a predominately white institution for my formative years, I felt like I was being deprived of a well-rounded school experience. That is not the case! I consider Ensworth my second home. The teachers and faculty are so caring and understanding and the plethora of opportunities I'm able to take advantage of because of my school never ceases to amaze me. It's tight knit community for sure, but people are generally welcoming and supportive. I'll never forget my first football game- the black and orange airhorns blown, cowbells rang, gatorade bottles filled with beads shaken. As a rising senior, I'm going to miss the community and the space here.
I am a well-rounded individual who can communicate with anyone from anywhere. Today, I feel confident meeting new people, talking to large crowds, tackling difficult assignments, and interviewing for jobs. I owe these things to The Ensworth School. I not only received a world-class education, but also the skills needed to take on the real world. Ensworth was HARD, but it has made everything in my life that has followed easier. It is a school you attend if you want to push yourself to your utmost potential. I could never recommend it enough!
The Ensworth School boasts teachers and resources that have contributed to my growth as a student and as a global citizen. I feel extremely prepared to face the college process in the coming years, as Ensworth assigns personal college counselors to support students in their college search and application process.
The faculty provide engaging lessons and create a classroom environment that makes every student feel welcomed. Ensworth uses the Harkness table to foster debate and discussion, enabling students to use their voices and teaching them to respect the voices of others.
