The Early College at Lansing Community College has helped me in multiple ways. I am much more prepared for the future, both academic and personal endeavors. I was very nervous when entering, and the first year is the most difficult. However, I am prepared for college in a way that I never thought I would be. I am now at a four-year institution, and TEC has prepared me to be successful here. I am not stressed about essays or assignments, as I have been taught valuable skills. Time management is one of the skills students are taught, and it is one that transcends through different walks of life.
A fantastic program that prepares students for the future.

The Early College is a great opportunity to finish your high school education while also getting a free college education. The educators will challenge you with coursework similar to the college level, but also give you the resource you need to create habits to be the best student you can be. The kids will come from all around the greater Lansing area so the diversity and new friendships are there. I would recommend the school to anyone. It is going through administrative changes, but the faculty will always remain true in helping you get your high school degree and associate degree.
I have been a student at Lansing Community College since 2016, and I have the best opinion about the college. As a minority student, being Hispanic, I got help in my own language since the very first day I walked into the college. Teachers are extremely prepared and knowledged, professionals, but also excellent humans. The college is always super clean, organized, the security is absolutely amazing, there is also great and private areas for self-study with plenty of technological resources and flexible schedules.
