Lansing Community College is a great school for students who don't know what they want to do, or for students who want to save money! The classes are intimate like a high school classroom. Many universities have hundreds of students in their classrooms, so it can be harder to have that one-on-one time with the professors! Overall, I really enjoy this college because it allows me to get my prerequisites out of the way and transfer to a university without paying by saving thousands of dollars!
The teachers really push you to do your best, and to succeed you have to embrace that and truly apply yourself 100%. The academic focus was very nice to me. The students that didn't truly want to be there, didn't last too long, so the community of students were all very academic focused.
I thought some of the administrative employees were ill equipped to deal with teenagers and were more rude than necessary, but other than that a great program! Fantastic opportunity for academically inclined high school students.

The Early College at Lansing Community College has helped me in multiple ways. I am much more prepared for the future, both academic and personal endeavors. I was very nervous when entering, and the first year is the most difficult. However, I am prepared for college in a way that I never thought I would be. I am now at a four-year institution, and TEC has prepared me to be successful here. I am not stressed about essays or assignments, as I have been taught valuable skills. Time management is one of the skills students are taught, and it is one that transcends through different walks of life.
A fantastic program that prepares students for the future.
