The Craig School Reviews

2 reviews
The Craig School has an excellent reading program and the writing program has improved, however, they don't seem to realize the population attending their school. Expectations are extremely high - form over substance in most cases with class work and home work which is outrageous since the students are there to learn "differently". Not the case. Certain students are favored and can do no wrong. Bullying is rampant and administration does not take it seriously or appropriately discipline bullies. My child was verbally and physically bullied numerous times and was "spoken to" by administration about the need to stand up to bullies. The high school hasn't really taken off and continues to have low enrollment. Not surprised given the treatment of the students who are truly there to address their disabilities and learn. Disappointing and disturbing experience and administration really needs to be educated on dealing appropriately with bullying situations.

The Craig School does a good job with reading education but is weak in other academic areas and is not a socially healthy environment. My child was bullied and the administrators did not respond to my concerns about bullying so we moved on after one year.
