I am a current 8th-grade student here, I joined in 7th grade after covid hit, and it's safe to say it was the best decision of my life. I have made so many wonderful friends and I am very sad to leave them and start my high school career. I would 100% recommend this school to any parent looking for a school for their child. You could join in 8th grade and still feel like you have known these people all your life. I am very grateful for this experience and I am very sad it is coming to an end so soon. We are leaving for the 8th grade Utah trip on May 31st, which will be my last day at this school except for graduation. I will most definitely cry. Love this school!
I'm a student at TCS, and overall my experience has been good. A few problems I have are that sometimes things are unnecessarily stressful, there are a LOT of events which even though I understand are meant to form a tight knit community probably stress most parents out, and when it comes to sports they rarely actually teach you and care much more about being kind than becoming skilled at it. There is little excitement throughout the day and things get pretty boring pretty quickly, but i've definitely learned a lot going here.
Hello. Coming from years of experience, I can tell you that this school is not the place you want to be if you want to keep your sanity. Do you know how much I have stressed and worried and been made anxious over the looming threat of everything this place has cost me? A metaphorical cost, that is. Oh, but don't forget about the literal cost! The money that is spent for students to go here is RIDICULOUS.
I suppose I can say one good thing about this school, and that is the reason is the reason I am giving it 2 stars. Some teachers actually care that we have lives. Many don't, though.
Good luck to everyone who goes here.
