I loved my time at CP. From the professors to the student body, to the courses and environment, it's all very positive and enriching. The flexibility for scheduling suited me far better than that of regular high schools. Furthermore, the free college courses benefited me in many ways; they taught me how to navigate college classes, manage my workload, and interact with peers in a more mature environment, not to mention the free college credits that can help jumpstart your education when you transfer to a four-year institution! That's not to say the school didn't have downsides however. The main ones I experienced were that the academic rigor can be a bit intense at times, and it can be difficult to get plugged into the community, because everyone has different schedules and backgrounds. That being said, I managed to plug myself in by joining clubs, attending lots of events, and trying to schedule classes with friends. Overall, I loved CP, and would highly recommend it as a school!
The Classical Academy College Pathways encourages their students to succeed. They teach not only academics but virtues as well. The teachers within the school are passionate about their teachings as well as they're mentally for their students.
During a class in my junior year, I had a panic attack before a presentation. My teach pulled me out of the classroom without drawing attention, and she comforted me. She as well as gave options to redo the presentations. She helped me gain confidence for public speaking which helped me not only academically but in college as well.
The entire school's community is uplifting and wants their students to be there for each other. They host events for the students bond, and the staff are close to the students.
Describing The Classical Academy College Pathways in one word would be a family. The students are all there for each other and lift each other up. The staff wants the best for their students; they teach their subject and their passions.

I loved the flexible class schedule the school offered. There are no classes on monday at the highschool, and some days are shorter than others depending on your schedule. There are great teachers to help you transition into college classes + college and career class that is a prerequisite to starting at PPCC. Once you stop taking classes at the high school, you have a lot of independence: no dress code and a choice of classes you want to take/when as long as you meet the requirements to graduate. Rather than taking chemistry or biology, you can take geography, astronomy- any science that interests you. For younger grades, though, the school rules and faculty can be strict and overbearing. If you wear jeans (not even skinny or ripped jeans, just jeans) they will make you change into school-provided pants. The same goes for any clothes with words/logos. I've gotten reprimanded for things like having my phone out during lunch. The independence you get later worth the rules though.
