We have really enjoyed our year with College Pathways. The schedule help my daughter immensely, getting her ready to begin college this fall. The counselors, administrators, instructors and office professionals have all been extremely helpful and truly want the best for the students. Love this school and am hoping my son can follow the same college pathway! :)

TCA College Pathways (CP) provides good academics through Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) and through their own math/science courses. However, all other now necessary parts of a high-school education have to be outsourced through PPCC. It is intended that students graduate with 30 to 60 college credits, which will more than likely transfer (several students graduate with associate degrees every year). The only problem is the lack of advice and general knowledge the counsellors have. You will probably meet with them once or twice a year, and their main/only focus is filling out the required HS credits. My advice is to not listen to them at all and simply set up a plan to get an associates with the PPCC staff. Basically you should act like your in college starting junior year.
I transferred to College Pathways for the last two years of high school and it was by far the best school I've attended. The teachers 100% cared about their students and the feeling of community was constantly there. Getting free college was definitely a plus, and the advisors helped every step of the way. The only downside, I found, was that by joining CP late, most of the students my age were over at the college and I didn't have a chance to meet as many people as I would have liked.
