I chose to go to Carlow University because of its amazing child education program. Along with the hands-on learning and Academic success plan set up for me, I am able to focus on my classes while doing what I love to do, which is working with kids on campus. Also, because it is a smaller school, it feels like a tight-knit family. During the pandemic, There was a strong sense of community between peers and instructors. Everyone was learning how to cope with the challenging times together, and it was appreciated that no one felt alone because of how well the school responded to the pandemic.
Graduated recently from Carlow. I can definitely say it was my second home. I love the school environment and the teachers. Everything about this school is nurturing, and everyone feels welcomed. I had to happiest childhood growing up attending Carlow, and I was more than prepared for high school. There's so many activities and clubs that are competitive and accessible to everyone. I loved it there!
Some of these reviews are about the *university* and not the elementary school. The Campus School is the preK-8th grade school located in the middle of the Carlow University campus. We have been a member of the Campus School community for 2 years and are so pleased with that we chose this school for our son. It is a warm and caring learning environment that encourages kindness, collaboration, creativity and inquisitiveness. We love how the students are able to move about the classroom and interact with other students throughout the day, however, the environment is still calm and conducive to learning. The lessons are interesting and tailored to the needs and interests of the kids in the class that year. STEAM projects and initiatives are woven in with the regular subjects like math and reading. The teachers and staff are warm and friendly and approachable. We couldn't be happier there.
