Deciding to go to Cambridge is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Here, I am intellectually challenged in a way that my old school was never able to imitate. There is a larger homework load compared to other schools, but this teaches students how to properly manage their time and to prepare them for the college workload. The teachers are fantastic and you can tell that they really enjoy teaching. Since the main focus of the school is on the intellect, our main appeal isn't our sports teams. However, we have made it to state many times with most of our sports, and have fairly solid teams for each sport. One of the things I love most about Cambridge is the friendly atmosphere and lack of competition that you might see in some schools. You can go up to anyone and ask for help, and they will try their best to help you.

The Cambridge School of Dallas is a wondeerful school. The student body is remarkably diverse considering the crowd private schools usually cater to. The students all know one another, and that allows them to form a close-knit, caring community unlike any other school you can imagine. The teachers are excellent, and the students love learning and the the arts. This is a school of intellectuals. Modt of the students are quirky, and "cool" at Cambridge is nothing like "cool" elsewhere. At this school, Socrates and Charles Dickens are cool. The teachers are passionate for God and the wonders of the beautiful world he created, and thus, their passion is often imparted onto those students.
Cambridge provides AP and Honors level classical classes with a Christian world view. The student body is diverse and need-based scholarships are available which makes the school affordable for all. The Studentbody is small by design, so student - teacher ratios are low (approx 10:1). Highlights are annual Declamation competition and Senior Tutorial Speeches. Sports are limited due to school size, but school is accommodating to all requests to play at a club sport level or other ways to participate in a diverse grouping of sports. Crew, golf, tennis, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track are all offered. More advanced athletes can be accommodated.
Facility needs improvement. School is leasing current location. Another facility that can accommodate all the schools needs is being sought.
