The Caedmon School Reviews

Our children go to Caedmon for many reasons. Caedmon is a warm and encouraging environment. The students are respected and nurtured. We are so impressed by the student body, who are confident and engaged. Last year I listened to panel of 5th grade students from the school. When asked if they had a magic wand, what would they change about Caedmon, they all answered they wished Caedmon had higher grade levels. The teachers are available, caring, and smart. The administration is intimate and strives for a community, not just a school. From teachers to staff to families, Caedmon is a warm, welcoming, and inviting space. Families are welcomed into the classroom and into school discussions. The parent body are very involved-they are kind, welcoming, and fun. Caedmon is a second home to many, including us. Within Caedmon we have found an elementary school community that we love. I am so grateful to bring my children to such a safe, happy, and inspired space each day.

Saddened to read the above reviews. We have 2 children at the school and have found it to be inclusive and warm, with teachers who are dedicated and care deeply about the students and leadership constantly working to improve the school. Caedmon celebrates children for who they are as unique individuals and creates an environment that fosters excitement about learning, as well as thoughtfulness and community-mindedness. Welcoming parent body. Support for process of applying to next school is particularly strong.
Our son had an amazing experience at Caedmon. He was warmly welcomed to the school as a new student by students, families and faculty alike.
5th grade was an amazing year for him, despite the challenge of outplacement. The school supported him and the rest of his grade both academically and emotionally, throughout the entire process. He learned so much that year in so many ways, and he was actually academically ahead of his new classmates when he arrived at his continuing school the following year.
Our family will forever be grateful to the head of school, Matthew Stuart, and to the 5th grade teaching team for their unflagging support and encouragement of our son and our family. I would highly recommend the school to any family for any entry grade.
