Ever since my daughter stepped onto the Bryn Mawr campus on her visit, she has felt welcome into the community. We love that Bryn Mawr has devoted and stellar teachers that help guide her, and that the classroom environment doesn't look like it did when we were kids with teachers lecturing to students - but students taking charge of their learning. The friends that she has made have been another added benefit, and the community really does celebrate the love of learning! We weren't sure about an all-girls school environment, but we've seen our daughter's confidence grow each year she has been here. The diversity of the community also adds to the strength of the community. Students are learning about different cultures, and learn to empathize early on.

Bryn Mawr is an amazing community of strong values, loving, supportive teachers, and students who are enthusiastic about learning. The campus is full of JOY! My daughters have been at Bryn Mawr since they were three months old, and school is such a happy place for them. The teachers truly know and love them, which makes their instruction personalized and genuinely supportive to their needs. Our family is honored to be a part of this special place.
Environment is very welcoming speaking as a parent of a student who joined in 6th grade. Girls are supportive of one another, are interested in academics and extracurriculars, and do not try to act or look older than they are which we found to be the case at other independent schools. THe head mistress seems really good. Teachers are all very good quality. Being smart is celebrated and not frowned upon!
