Overall, Bolles has many of the same qualities which I would personally say would make an ideal school. The campus is beautiful, the openness of it all really makes travelling between classes refreshing, and some of the teachers are world-class instructors. However, there are some things which need to be addressed. The lack of focus on STEM (Or STEAM now, I guess) is a little bit concerning, especially for such a well-funded school who spends so much money every weekend hiring landscaping to trim and maintain their campus. In addition, the workloads in some classes are just too much and provide very little benefit to the education of the students (lots of busywork in some classes). Despite these issues I have, I think Bolles is a very compelling option for many highschoolers who want to build a solid foundation to prepare themselves for college.

The Bolles School has really taught me to be a better person, student, friend, and son ever since I started in Pre-K. I enjoy the calm yet busy environment of the campus. I feel like I know everyone and that I am not alone. I love the challenges and achievements I have been able to achieve while being at Bolles. This school is definitely teaching me what it is like in the real world and in college. Not only do the challenging courses prepare you for college but also by being involved in sports, my time management ability has improved a ton since middle school. There is nothing I would like to change about the school.
I've gone to Bolles since I was in the sixth grade, and this school is amazing. The academics are top notch, the teachers are incredible, the clubs and opportunities to be involved are plentiful, and the administration is incredibly helpful!
