The Blake School Reviews
Rating 4.1 out of 5 99 reviews
Absolutely exceptional school! The staff and teachers are 1000% committed to student success. The preparation and training is parallel to none. Each year builds upon another in ways missing from other schools. Students are nurtured to excel and thrive, to find their passions. Yes it’s competitive, but so is life and students are set up for success.
Superior school! Blake has the best academic program in the Twin-Cities area. The arts and athletics programs are very rich too. We love the robotics, computer science, project-based learning, and debate programs. Having multiple campuses is not a problem at all.
Came after freshman year. Academics are outstanding and will prepare you better for college than any other school in Minnesota. The one thing the school lacks is diversity—this not being limited to only racial diversity. Many of the discussions that take place in social studies classes are just people agreeing with each other because everyone is of left-leaning opinion. Also, the administration tends to use super reductive methods to address their problems with racial diversity. This being said, I got into my dream school by attending Blake, so I'm not complaining. Overall worth it.
