I love The Benjamin School and am very happy that I chose it! Coming from a public school and a private school before, I came to Benjamin with an open mind filled with excitement, and have not been let down in the slightest. I play lacrosse and cross county, and am proud to say that our sports experience is amazing! The people and teachers you meet at this school are unbelievable. The overall experience is unbeatable and I love going to school every morning. There is an abundance of clubs and organizations to become involved in as well. Although academics can be difficult, teachers are very approachable and the learning experience is incredible. I feel safe every day with the armed guards that roam around school. Everyone, staff and student body included, are always filled with happiness and kindness. I can confidently say that I love this school and have no regrets about my decision to attend.
My third and last child is going through The Benjamin Upper School now. It's been an amazing experience with all my kids. Joseph is a sophomore and should be a graduating As a "14 year club" kid - which means he's been there since pre-K and we've been a part of this academic community for 20 years! I can only sing the praises of this school. They have helped balance and Shepard my children through so much. We have had a great experience at each stage (Lower, Middle & Upper) in the process. If you're looking for a school with fantastic teachers who treat each student with individualized attention, your kids won't be better off anywhere else. The sports programs are excellent, the theater and music programs are also great. The video production and computer science training is stellar. That doesn't even mention the liberal arts/humanities/history departments which prep our kids to be college ready.
I have had a great experience at the Benjamin school. While it is quite costly, I truly believe that the college-level type education is worth the price. The teachers are all very passionate about their subject matter, and are enthusiastic about teaching. I was extremely prepared for college, and would not have gone to highschool anywhere else!
