I have been going to the Agnes Irwin School since kindergarten (I am currently in 10th grade.) Throughout lower, middle, and upper school I have felt very supported by my teachers. They are always willing to meet with you if you need any help or have any questions. The classes are challenging and fun and now that I am in high school I have many opportunities to choose classes that are interesting to me such as neuroscience. I am on the crew team and I feel proud to be representing Agnes Irwin during our races. My grade is very close and I love going to school because I get to be with my 70 best friends every day!
As a current student, I love Agnes Irwin and everything it has to offer. Everyone is driven and passionate about learning and growing as a person and as a community. At AIS, girls uplift other girls. The relationship between faculty and students is really what makes AIS special. Students make time in their day to find the Dean of Students, the Head of the Upper School, their favorite teacher, or the dining staff to simply chat. AIS provides students the opportunities to explore any interest they may have in clubs and boards like Student Government, Bel Cantos (the select a capella choir), Robotics, the Athletic Association, the Arts Council, STEM club, and Model UN. AIS has improved their efforts to support minority groups and amplify these students' voices through organizations such as the Black Student Union, the Asian Student Alliance, and Compass (the School's LGBT affinity group). AIS has shaped who I am and I encourage you to send your daughters! It is worth the investment!
Agnes Irwin is a really special school. I feel that I have grown so much as a person since coming here years ago and my confidence has undoubtedly increased. I have enjoyed learning and playing sports at AIS and I have made so many great friends! The faculty are also amazing at helping each individual student with anything, and AIS has really helped me achieve my goals and dreams.
