APH is a great school that cares about the students, their education and emotional wellbeing. Still somewhat new, they’re carving their path to be among one of the best.
We love the all girl education. When looking at the school, it wasn’t on our radar - having now experienced it, our daughter prefers it, saying it relieves so many social pressures.
Other things we love about APH are - hands on learning, ability to teach outside the classroom, community service projects, small class sizes, daily advisory with support from teachers and knowing they care about our daughter.
The girls have the ability to shine, be themselves, be heard and learn the importance of standing up for what you believe. They're taught they can do anything and they can make a difference in the world.
Bonus - Stunningly beautiful building and campus with great food in the Bistro!

It was a very good school to transition into half way through high school. I entered into a close knit community that accepted me with open arms and hearts. The campus was unlike anything I have seen, and food was wonderfully done every day. The teachers were all enthusiastic about their subjects, and were there whenever a student was in need.
However, it wasn't perfect. As a non-binary student, I didn't always feel the most comfortable in this very rigid environment of "womanhood" (I did not discover I was non-binary until about the time I transferred into this school). So, I worked with other non-binary/trans students in an effort to make sure the school would be more welcoming to anyone who is discovering their identity. It is very much a work in progress, but I feel like I was able to make a little bit of an impact on the school that helped me get into college.

My experience at The Academy At Penguin Hall has been overwhelmingly amazing! It is an honest to goodness blessing and it has changed my life for the better. I cannot believe the tremendous amount of support and compassion that comes from a combination of the teachers and student body. I highly recommend APH as a number one choice when looking for/applying to high school. From the moment I stepped foot inside the building, I knew I would find a great home full of girls and teachers that would encourage me to do my best, and thrive in the real world. APH has truly prepared me for every situation that I may encounter in life ahead. I have so much more to learn, as I am only a sophomore, and I can't wait to see what APH has in store for me next! I am so very lucky to have found such a wonderful, compassionate, including and safe community to guide me throughout my high school journey.
