The Academies of West Memphis Charter School Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 29 reviews
The Academies of West Memphis Charter School, in my opinion, was probably the most affordable and reliable institute of education I could have attended. Out of the high schools in the West Memphis to Marion area (which is near where I live), The Academies of West Memphis Charter School was the best option. So far, I have been able to sustain a strong, academic standing amongst my fellow students, and I have been given opportunities to pursue concurrent credits for future college enrollment. The only flaw I feel the school has is its lack of diverse STEM related activities and clubs. I currently am in Robotics for my senior year, and it has been a very fun and informative year for me in that engineering field. Yet, this is only the case because the school had won at $50,000 award for STEM. I wish the Science Club at our school received more attention and funding, and I wish that STEM as a whole could be more widely appreciated and pursued in my school.
I have been attending the West Memphis school district for my whole academic career. This school has given me lifelong friendships and life lessons. The school is very diverse, so you meet everyone from different backgrounds and cultures. The school offers a wide variety of classes and clubs. The staff takes care of the kids in the school and treats them as if they were their own. West Memphis school district is big on grades and involvement. They want to see us succeed and offer help along the way.
The Academics of West Memphis is a great school.. The administration and staff are helpful when needed, they treat you as if your their family.. They help student understand things that many others might not have understood.
